Thank you, Lincoln Community School!
Mollie Sprague and Mikaela Frank at LCS worked with Bob Wible, Central Vermont TIC Liaison, to arrange for a dissection demonstration. Tom Jones of Vermont Fish and Wildlife organized the session with help from Doug Zehner and Paul Urband.
Thank you all, and thanks especially to you, Mollie, for putting this slideshow together and sharing it with us.

The students of the Castleton Village School gave a wonderful series of presentations based on their research into various characteristics of the Castleton River, which flows just north of their school campus.
Here are some of their slides. Congratulations on the excellent work of your students, Guy Merolle!

Below you can see eleven slides that, collectively, represent the efforts of students at Lincoln Community School to make squares for their participation in the national Trout in the Classroom quilt project.
Here's some great trout art from Meg Lyons's students at Green Mountain Valley School.
Here's a slide show of artwork done by Lisa Mark's third graders at Ludlow Elementary School. These are beautiful, and Lisa has sent them all (there are more; I couldn't photograph every one of them) to a publisher. They will be turned into a hard-cover book, copies of which will be given to (a) two community volunteers, (b) the school library, and (c) Okemo Community Challenge, the nonprofit that funded the LES project. Great job everybody!
Here's an assortment of photos from classroom work, Release Day activities, the training workshop, and even the youth activism of individual TIC students.
